CTET Exam Date 2023-24 Out: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released a CTET January 2023 Notification PDF on 03rd November 2023 along with the CTET Exam Date 2024. As per the notice, the CTET 2023-24 examination is scheduled to be held on 21st January 2024 (Sunday). CBSE has released the official CTET 2024 Exam Schedule. The CTET Exam will be administered offline (using pen and paper) in two shifts. CTET Exam Date 2024 Out
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to examine candidates’ eligibility for the primary (1-5 class) level and for the upper primary (6-8 class) level teachers. The CTET Exam will be conducted in 20 languages across the country. This year CTET 2024 January Exam is going to be held on 21st January 2023.
CTET January 2024 Exam Date and Schedule
The CTET exam has been scheduled for 21st January 2024 and CTET Admit Card 2024 will be released 2-3 days before the exam date on its official website. The CTET Shift 1 is held from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 is held from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. CTET 2023-24 Exam Pattern for Papers 1 & 2
Candidates who are eligible and going to appear in the CTET January 2024 Exam must be aware of the CTET 2024 Exam Pattern. We have discussed below the CTET 2024 Exam Pattern for Papers 1 & 2. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers in the CTET 2024 Exam.
- There is no penalty for wrong answers in the CTET 2023-24 Exam.
- CTET Paper-I exam is divided into 5 sections. The total number of questions and marks distributions for Paper 1 is given below:
- 1 mark shall be awarded to every correct answer.
- Questions are objective multiple-choice type questions for 150 Marks.
- There will be 5 parts
- The time duration of the exam is 2 hours 30 minutes.
