OSSC CGL Selection Process 2023

The selection process for Odisha CGL Group B & C posts will be held in 3 phases i.e. Preliminary examination and a Main examination and Certificate Verification. Candidates who clear the OSSC CGL Prelims examination will be called to appear for the OSSC CGL Mains Examination followed by certificate verification. Candidates have to qualify for each stage of the selection process to get selection for various Group B & C posts.

OSSC CGL Exam Pattern 2023

OSSC CGL Recruitment 2023 Notification has been released along with a detailed exam pattern for the Prelims & Mains Exam. For the OSSC CGL Prelims Exam, the questions will be multiple choice (objective) types while for Mains, the questions will be Multiple Choice and Short Answer types. OSSC CGL Prelims Exam Pattern

  1. There will be 150 Multiple Choice Questions in the exam.
  2. The preliminary test will be the Computer Based Recruitment Exam.
  3. Each question carries 1 mark.
  4. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes.
  5. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
  6. The level questions asked will be of the 10th standard.

  1. For the OSSC CGL Mains Exam, there will be 2 Papers.

  3. Each paper will be of 100 marks and 2.5 hours duration.
